Who are you

I hate how people judge people. Especially "Christians", I grew up in the church and still have a faith and a great relationship with my father in heaven, and I KNOW the Bible says for us to love one another. I KNOW that the Bible says to NOT judge people. As Christians we need to be the understanding ones, and the loving ones. The Bible says to be CHRIST-LIKE, um....I'm pretty 100% positive that Christ did not judge anyone. He held his arms wide open to everyone, and was there for everyone. Even the Samaritan woman who was a prostitute, or the man with leprosy. It is sad that today, Christians will come across sick people, whether it be whores, the poor, the un-clean, the drunk, etc. and they will be so quick to judge, and so quick to turn their children's face's away teaching them that those people are "bad". What have we turned into? What happened to the caring, and love? Everyones so scared and un-trusting. People worry too much these days. Worrying is like slapping God right across the face, because it tell Him that we don't trust him. We are to cast all of our worries on him, he is the one who will take care of you no. matter. what. We are not the ones to judge.

Truth

God is faithful to all who are unfaithful. He is compassionate to all who are uncompassionate, and He is loving when we cannot even love others. He is a God that is consistent when we are inconsistent. He is a God that renews, restores, and revives when are souls have run dry. He is a God that hurts when our hearts ache. He is a God of comfort when we are hurting and mends broken hearts when they have split in two. He is a God that leads us down the path to prosperity and peace even when we want to take the road that leads to destruction and death. He gives sight to the blind, and hope to the weary. He is a God that loves unconditionally no matter how many times we turn our backs to Him. He is a God that waits with open arms when we have lost our way. He is a God that brings purity to the filthiest sin and forgives time and time again. He is a God that died a death none of us could imagine. As He was beaten beyond recognition, as He grabbed hold of the cross, the weight bearing down on His almost lifeless body, He trudged the streets to His death. He was thrown to the ground, nails driven into His hands and was raised between two thieves. There as the life slowly drained from His body, holding up His weight, grasping for air, He took on every sin we commit. Every sin we do behind closed doors. Every sin that we daily choose to make a part of our lives. Every sin that we just can't seem to let go. Every sin that controls our thoughts and actions. He took it all. And when it was complete He simply spoke, "It is finished," and breathed His last breathe. For some this would be the end of the story. But for Him, it was the beginning. For three days later He physically rose from the dead. And that is where the story begins. You have a choice. Life or Death? Christ wants you to choose Him. It doesn't matter what you have done in the past, it doesn't matter what you have done five minutes ago. It matters what you choose to do right now. God wants you, your heart, your mind, your soul, He wants all of you. God wants to show you a life that is complete, full of joy, and a life that will spill over to eternity. He turns no one away. He's waiting. Take His hand. He will never let go. -Carl Christiansen
